Alright so I decided to do some 3D animation on one of my ink paintings. I know its flimsy but it is a trial run and I think it was successful. Images from the video are below, I have been heck-a-busy and I am exhausted. I will be making some more videos on my work but I like doing the 3D animated style for my illustrations.

Lately my recording equipment and computer settings are off. So I am not pleased with the quality of this video. But I got something done for Halloween. I am also working on a better introduction for my videos so everything is just taking time. Don't worry, however I will be posting something a bit new once I get the bugs worked out. Have a safe Halloween everyone, and have fun.
But I am slowly pushing work out of my studio. I am finished my book but I am having some difficulty getting published. I have some legal paper work to fill out and tax related stuff to get done before I can put anything out. In short I have a bunch of little things to do before I can put anything out. So that's about all I can say for the delays for my book, for the delays in my work however is a little different. I don't have much time during the day to get much done, so when I actually do get some time to sit down and work I am usually to exhausted to do anything.
I have been thinking of doing some animation projects soon also. But I want to get most of my other work done first before I move on with anything different.
Hopefully I can get all things ironed out and move along to book two.
Well the summer is winding down, and I have worked through most of it. Not much has been going on other then painting and editing. I am planning on making a trip to the supplies store to replenish my paints, inks, and maybe some canvases. Hopefully after I purchase the bar codes needed and I get some merchandise out on the line I can begin pushing it out on the market. I also have to get my finances in order, to avoid confusion in the near future. I don't like doing office work, I would rather be behind my desk pushing out work; but life demands sacrifices.
I am pretty new at freelancing. truth be told I am still learning a lot.
Recently I sent my portfolio to Jonathan Oliver at Solaris books. I was shocked that he sent a response so quickly. Though he had nothing available, he was polite and professional. I definitely have a great first impression of Mr. Oliver , and I would be proud to work for him anytime. The thing that amazed me most was that he himself sent me the e-mail and not some administrator or secretary, I have to admit it was the equivalent of receiving a message from a celebrity.
I am thankful I had an opportunity to show him some of my work, and though he had nothing available at the time; he took time out of his schedule to address me
and give me some of his time.
Now to the lesser news, my book.
Unfortunately I am still in the process of editing my book. I have a designer helping me, but it is moving slow. it may take longer then I anticipated and I don't think I will be publishing for another 2 to 3 weeks. It is going to take some time.
I am going to give my job search another month then I am out. I don't have time for this anymore. I paint and draw and update my work portfolio everyday and there is no payoff. I've submitted my portfolio to several places and I always get snobbish response back. I am a freelance artist, if you would like to buy my skills you can leave me a message and Ill get back to you ASAP.
This was a weird week.
I am going to take a short break with the videos, so I can get some other things done. But I am not going to stop making them. I will try to get one out during the weekends, but it does take time to film edit and post so please bear with me.

Today I tried to post a video on you tube, and they told me for the first time I can't use an audio track of Peggy Lee. For some reason apparently I am using copy written music, but this is the first time they have made a huge deal out of it.
Well its not that I mind, I'm not making money from it. I figured the music would match the theme. But anyway I wont let this get me down. I will continue to create videos. I am going to be making a website soon, so stay tuned for that. I am happy to say I got a huge body of work to post, most of which are going to be on deviant art. I will post the link below.

I finished editing this video this morning and posted before noon. I am going to be working a on few other things before I do a third enter the strange. I want to practice hands and feet for a bit and do some refreshing exercises to improve my anatomy. Either way stay tuned and enjoy the video.

Its been a rough week and a new one is around the corner. and I am just not ready for it. Anyway this week sucked and I didn't get as many videos out as I would have liked to. But I am going to keep making some. Please be patient as I am also going to be doing some actual commentary on my videos.
I've been multitasking like crazy to get a bunch of things done, and I was able to reach most of my goals for last week. I have a huge headache and dealing with arrogant people isn't going easy.
Apparently everyone thinks they are a fucking genius, when they actually just speak to sound smart. They are dumb as fuck in real life. Either way its these dumb fucks running your system so...yeah enjoy.

Apparently many of my videos on you tube are banned in Germany for reasons of the music that I choose.
I can change the music to my videos, if I just wanted to have stark silence for them...then they would be really exciting right?!
Seriously, if my videos are banned in Germany then its their loss. I cant change the law and I have done everything I can to follow copyright laws and give credit to the artist. That's why I use the artist, because I like there music. But I don't know why Germany doesn't seem to like me, maybe a good German person can explain this too me.
Seems that in my weekly rating report that Germans have no problem with downloading my work and using it for ...whatever Germans use my work for, with out my consent. But I don't block them and tell them they are in violation of copy write issues. I am not profiting from any of my videos so I don't quite understand why you tube has decided to target my videos and ban me in Germany.
Ill write a letter to the German ambassador and ask him why. Maybe they discovered that I don't like bratwurst? Or that I never approved of the Volkswagen Jetta? Either way, I hope that Germany will forgive me my sins and take me back. Ill send the ambassador some chocolates and we can chat over some coffee.
I have a lot of things to do in a short amount of time. I will be keeping regular updates on my process, I am still trying to do a lot of things I wanted to do before but I am breaking my way through them one piece at a time. I found that trying to accomplish 5 tasks at once makes your work harder and takes longer.
Starting Monday and Tuesday I will be finishing the last 2 war hammer pieces. On top of that I am off to the printers by Tuesday to print off business cards and other items to complete my portfolio. Also Monday will be preparing tear sheets and resume cover letters. I will be mailing them out once I have finished a clients list and so on so forth.
So the first two days of the week are going to be busy. I am committed to continue working, I still have things I want to fine tune.
Hopefully by Friday I will have everything completed and I will be a step closer to finishing everything I want to get done.
Due to some technical issues I had to post pone this video by one day putting me behind in my work.
Anyway this is part two of my four part series. I am still trying to figure out what else I would like to do, I think I would like to try my hand at some more movie related images to help build my portfolio.

Alright so I am done with Hiatus.
I did my break now I have to do some serious work. I did some rough painting to start myself off, aside from that not much else is going on. I am just trying to find some work. I have discovered some interesting new place that have just opened up so I am going to apply myself there. Not too much else is going on. Got some rest and now I am working on some new stuff, economy is still in the shit hole so I don't expect to find my dream job in the next year but I can still have dreams.

The Minor Bird by Robert Frost.
So I have been working on some new stuff but I wanted to gather all my older sketches and roughs together so that I can reflect a bit. I also don't think a lot of these are bad, they just have never been used, so I slapped together a postage board type theme together to display briefly some of my older and unused pieces. I choose the Minor bird because it is a poem about a bird that is singing outside a mans house and for some reason he wants it to go away. I get that impression a lot by people who see my works and shit all over them. Well dick holes I am not going away so your just going to have to keep making ugly faces until you except that I am here and there is shit you can do about it. I will have more coming up. and in the mean time I am getting something's ready for my DA account. In the mean time I will be re-posting a lot of my older water colors back, but I am going to be selective about what I post. I am also working on some new war hammer fan art, so hold your breath.
Most people when they hear me ramble about the weird things in my day are highly skeptical. Well personally I don't know if I would believe me either. So walking to the bus stop one day I found this dead cat in a trash can and it made me think about life in general.
Is this what's at the end of the road for us? Develop through life only to be discarded as trash? Well what did you except? Don't tell me you thought your would live forever and everything would be fantastic, that's laughable. What about the half eaten banana? You ever think of the asshole who peeled it and chucked the other half away?
Well any way that's my deep and intellectual chat about life this week. And its a piece of proof to the little things I notice in my day. He kind looks peaceful right? I suppose it doesn't matter how you slice it, we all end up in the trash at one point. The trick is making sure that people are not looking when your there. This is the third dead house cat I've found at the side of the road. Pretty miserable, and to think one day you'll be in the same pose, only you wont have the fortune of having a casket made of cardboard boxes and a steel drum. You get this shitty pine and carbon fibered box that they chuck underground to forget about.
Well I hope this was deep and made you think about something's. Life isn't fair, get used to it. All you can do is hunker down and blast your way through it, and by the end of the road you have something to show.
Working on some neat stuff also, but I am going to be putting together a book and stuff.
Ah my terrible little world. Here's some work I managed to muster up on a scratch board. I know its a terrible photo, but what can I do?
Anyway I have been sketching and doing other things with my time aside from being depressed and trying not to erase everything I am doing. this piece isn't finished yet but I wont continue it on this board. Ill find something a bit nicer to use, so I can get that texture out. But this time your thinking, "man this is cheap, is he using cardboard?"
You caught me, yes this is done on card board, rather that card board was originally intended to be scratch board for all rough garbage, Anyway I have to add some back round elements and a little more detail that I will do in a later one. I have a few new water colors I need to post once I figure out how to move stuff around in this crazy platform called windows 8. In the mean time here are some better photos.
Im still technically on hiatus, but I was doodling around and thought these pieces where cool so I posted em here. I will be doing some freelance work, but until I get a green light I wont be posting them here. I've been busy with house stuff and the cold weather is making work slow, so I am mostly playing around and trying to network.
