Its going awesome.

I ordered some new products, and they have been pretty awesome. The biggest winner is Sailor Jentle Ink.

Best Inks I've ever used.
They dry fast and spread like magic. its ultra thin, so it doesn't clot and kill your pens and nibs.
I guess I am promoting these sailor brand, but whatever. I like them and have made some really nice pieces with it. Too bad they wont send me some samples or something so I could review, but whatever.
I am also a huge fan of Daler and Rowney Acrylic ink. The product is thicker because it is an acrylic, but it doesn't clot nibs and brushes. An excellent medium for painting and mixes well with water.
I really love the span of colors they have, and the behavior of the inks is so smooth and flexible it can be used for masters or beginners . Highly recommended if you have the purse for it, they do cost a bit, but that's why we do construction lines in pencil so you don't waste ink.

Both inks blend well with water and other inks for a gentle color blending.
I wont be going out for Halloween tonight because I accidently hurt my hand, and I am just going to stay at home and rest.
I hope this review helps your to choose an ink for your future projects.

One hitter quitters drive me nuts.

People who have goals, then quite those goals once someone else achieves the same goals drive me absolutely nuts.
People that wake up and try to complete a task, then give up once they find out its been done already are lazy.
People who say, "today I will climb mount Everest." Then once they discover that people have climbed mount Everest already, they sob for a moment and cancel there plans for personal achievement. I don't understand this, because this mentality is destructive and insincere.
Example: A doctor works hard to find a cure for cancer, once he is about to make a break through he discovers one man who had his cancer cured...there for, in his mind ALL cancer is now cured. Does this make sense? If your going to stop once you have begun making headway, was your intent to actually solve a problem? or become famous? It seems like today the only reason people start anything is to proclaim there own greatness to the world, and not to actually do anything for the good of society. Unless its something you can post on facebook or youtube can gain internet fame, its not worth achieving.
These are extreme examples, but its seems like people are just looking for the easy way out; or a "get rich quick" scheme. There is almost no real motivation to make great achievements in this world, and anything that requires actual work is a waste of time. Its a hallmark of laziness and extreme selfishness.
I recently got into an argument with a fool online about the Jupiter probe. My argument was simply that because Jupiter is a raging ball of storms all day, there is a need for a manned space station to monitor the planet and not just a one shot probe. I made the claim that due to the constant storms and shifting of the planets surface, a probe isn't going to give adequate information, because in one of Jupiter's years the entire landscape will be altered.
There rebuttal: " The internet called and said your a moron".
Way to dodge the point, idiot. So instead of trying to rebuke or staging any debate...your run like a bitch to petty insults and playground bullshit.
My only response to his idiot comment was that he is a lazy pig, and his will is weak. He doesn't want to explore and quite frankly he is to scared to see beyond the walls of his little apartment.
I also mentioned that once you stop exploring and learning, you have ceased to function as a mature adult, then I directed him to promptly kill himself so as to stop wasting valuable space for someone who might actually want to do something. yes sir you are a one hitter quitter, and you'll always be a looser. Your family must be proud.

So I guess this ends my rant...or does it?
Well there is more to this then meets the eye. Because I am a freelance illustrator, and I bust my ass to provide. I see a lot of people who go into "art" claiming to be "artist". I have to say this now because I see it so much and it drives me crazy.
These are the same people who don't want to do any real hard work they figure it is easy to be "an artist". Because apparently being an artist is all about being surrounded but beautiful naked people all day, drinking wine, and having snobby intellectual debates on 'what is beauty" all day.
Sorry people but being in any field of art isn't as easy as you dreamed it is. It is hard work and suffering all day. You are miserable and surrounded by people who are trying to rob you blind all hours of the day.
I laugh when I see these people come up with something that they think is original, then they pat themselves on the back and give themselves a fancy title.
These wanna-be savants, and self proclaimed geniuses are hilarious to watch as they take something that they saw on a cartoon and try feebly replicate it, calling it an original.
You can call me a mean person, you can call me a jerk. You can tell me I am not suppose to say these things about other artist, because all art is subjective to YOU. Fine...if art is subjective then why should anyone give a damn?
I am allowed to criticize, I am allowed to speak my mind. I am allowed to be pissed off at the army of lazy bastards throwing on smocks and barrettes and promenading like assholes, having emotional fits and calling it art.
that's just my opinion. Being an illustrator is not an easy job, and I am tired of people thinking it is a fallback job that anyone can do. Like being a chief, yeah sure anyone can do it. Does that mean everyone SHOULD do it? Not really...you have great cooks and terrible cooks. Your not going to be subjective with what you put into your mouth are you?
You wont eat slop just to spare someone's feelings, are you?
