They are almost to goal, and they could really use your support. They are shy about 610.00 for there goal.
Head on over, have a look around.
In other news, I have some of my own projects going on. People keep asking me in a sarcastic tone.
"So....what are you doing these days...?" To which my answers never seems to satisfy there constant judgments of my activities.
So a few things I am up too, for all those inquiring minds.
-I am building a deck of standard playing cards, the only theme is the breaking in of my own style.
-I am building up product for my upcoming online store. Books, pins and other merch.
-I am also doing a tone of research to set up my online store, so it doesn't become a brimming failure.
Now a lot of people have tried to make suggestions to me about things I need to do. Its appreciated, but its also unsolicited advice. Why do I say that? Most of the people who are telling me how I should run my business, have not actually had a business of there own to run online or anywhere else. So even though they make interesting suggestions, they actually have no experience. Its also my brand, so if I fail then they have no skin in the game; and do not share my losses. its easy to talk out the side of your mouth when its not your product on the line. When things work you can easily take credit, when things go to hell you have the option of backing off and watching the train wreck unfold.
So here is a little tip for all you people trying to tell me my business....mind you own business and let me do mine.
Keep in mind I do get some good advice, but I also get a lot of bad advice. Both forms of advice I get from people who have no real idea what doing e-commerce is like. Yes it sounds easy, but its almost as hard as a brick and mortar store.
Also to think that people I know would think me so stupid as to not do my own research before doing this, is kind of insulting. Most people gave me the impression that I just woke up, didn't even bother to put underwear on, and ran out the door with a fools errand in mind. I did, and continue to do the research; alright guys. I have a little bit of an idea of what I am doing, and quite frankly you need to be quiet for a bit.
This is why I don't like to tell people about what I am doing; because it falls under constant judgment and criticism.
This may be the last blog I do on the subject of my store, because quite honestly I'm just tired of people telling me how I should run my business.
